My experience speaking with Nathan for nearly 3 hours was extremely unpleasant. I felt like he was antagonistic rather than helpful. It was absurd that it took 3 hours to get very little accomplished and feel like I have been working with a company that is not honest and misrepresents their services. I will change as soon as possible. He told me I had to wait for a few weeks for some reason. Not much of what he said made any sense and he had problems talking with me in terms I could understand. I would not recommend using this company.

If you're mainly interested in email services, then traditionally, GoDaddy hasn't had an uptime policy for its older CPanel email. But since the company has transitioned to Microsoft Office 365 for its email services, it's now able to enjoy Microsoft's 99.9% uptime guarantee. However, be aware that GoDaddy has replaced the Office 365 health services dashboard with its own internally branded version. It shows the same kinds of information including when the last issue was, and whether or not it's been resolved.
^ Nimouse (pseudonym), Anna (February 6, 2007). "Not-So-Super Ads". The National Review. Archived from the original on March 28, 2007. Retrieved 2007-02-07. The GoDaddy commercial that garnered enormous reaction (much negative) last year, with the buxom babe wearing a skimpy T-shirt with the logo across her chest, was tame in comparison to the raunchy, "Girls-Gone-Wild" style of this year's advertisement. The fact that the advertisement caused such a stir last year probably helped determine the content of this one.
Scott joined GoDaddy in 2013, after a 13-year tenure, with global investment firm KKR, where he served as a KKR Capstone Member and the long-time leader of its Portfolio Operations team. He was a key member of the team that invested in GoDaddy in 2011, serving as GoDaddy's interim CEO, and then joined the company's leadership team as CFO and COO. Scott also held the title of President, expanding his responsibility across go-to-market channels, including marketing, customer care, international markets, and corporate development.
On December 19, 2006, GoDaddy received a third party complaint of invalid domain contact information in the WHOIS database for the domain FamilyAlbum.com.[112] GoDaddy wrote a letter to the owner of FamilyAlbum.com saying, "Whenever we receive a complaint, we are required by ICANN regulations to initiate an investigation as to whether the contact data displaying in the WHOIS database is valid data or not...[112] On 12/19/2006 we sent a notice to you at the admin/tech contact email address and the account email address informing you of invalid data in breach of the domain registration agreement and advising you to update the information or risk cancellation of the domain. The contact information was not updated within the specified period of time and we canceled the domain."[112] The editor of "Domain Name Wire" said that since domain names are valuable it was reasonable to expect that the registrar would try to contact the domain owner by phone or postal mail.[112] On February 28, 2007, GoDaddy offered to get the domain name back for the previous owner if he would indemnify GoDaddy from legal action by the new registrant.[113] GoDaddy stated that the new owner paid $18.99 for the domain, the price of a backorder, not a regular registration.[113] On November 2, 2007, Domain Name Wire reported that it appears that GoDaddy no longer cancels domains for invalid WHOIS.[114] The editor on Domain Name Wire received a message from a reader who is trying to acquire a domain with obviously false WHOIS information.[114] The message from GoDaddy said, "The domain has been suspended due to invalid WHOIS. The domain will remain in suspension through expiration, including the registry's redemption period, unless the owner updates the contact information before that time."[114]
DNS by nature can take 24-48 hours to fully propagate across the entire internet, though we generally see much quicker propagation. GoDaddy has each Time to Live setting for each record set to 1 hour. Depending on when that last hourly check was, you should see your changes go live in an hour or less. If you’d like to speed things up, you can select a shorter TTL value, but make sure to do that at least an hour or more BEFORE you edit the rest of your records.

If you buy web hosting from Godaddy for one year or a time period then after one year you need to renew your Domain & hosting plans. When your web hosting or domain renewal date will come to continue the service of GoDaddy. You need to renew your hosting within the time period. If you cannot renew your product so you want to again buy a hosting. And again design your website which is a loss for the business. So when the renewal date will come so you want to renew the products at the time. And you know that product will become costly at the time of renewal. For example, you buy a new hosting at 12$ from the new account and when you go for renewal after a year so you need to pay around 15$ to 20$. So the people ask a question.
Rival domain name registrar NameCheap claimed that GoDaddy was in violation of ICANN rules by providing incomplete information in order to hinder the protest moves of domain names from GoDaddy to NameCheap,[135] an accusation which GoDaddy denied, claiming that it was following its standard business practice to prevent WHOIS abuse.[136] GoDaddy still maintains the strict policy of 60 days lock in inter registrar domain transfers, if there was a change in registrant information. Many other registrars are giving an option for their customers to opt out from this 60 days lock as per the ICANN Policy which says. "The Registrar must impose a 60-day inter-registrar transfer lock following a Change of Registrant, provided, however, that the Registrar may allow the Registered Name Holder to opt out of the 60-day inter-registrar transfer lock prior to any Change of Registrant request".
Heavily trafficked sites will favor 1&1 Ionos . The co-Editors' Choice has the specs (16-core CPUs, 48GB of RAM) and prorated plans that big businesses crave. In addition, 1&1 Ionos offers customizable servers that you can build from the ground up. Those, of course, cost big bucks. You should reach out to one of the company's customer service reps for pricing information.
I rebuilt my site AGAIN, published it, and made sure to check up on it along with any GoDaddy emails to make sure this didn't happen again. Things seemed fine for a few months and I forgot about my concerns. Yesterday, I got an email for the renewal of one of those useless add-ons that in hindsight I should've canceled when I had the chance. Well since I'm on the topic of spending $60 on my website I've been neglecting, let's go and work on it. Log-in and guess what... DELETED!!!!! I am expected to start from scratch AGAIN and I am fed up.

WE use their shared Linux web hosting and their email, and we don’t host anything fancier than a WordPress site. We have never called their tech support, We did use the chat feature a couple of times to ask questions.
